International paper in Russellville, Arkansas had been experiencing repeat blockages of their 4” and 6” sewer main lines that ran nearly 500 feet underneath their production floor. Over the years heavy scale had built up in their cast iron pipes, impeding flow and eating away at the pipe beneath.

Diamond State Trenchless was brought in to consult on the solution and we ended up relining the sewer. We installed nearly 500’ of epoxy liner over the span of 3 access points and performed roughly 30 reinstatements with our robotic cutter in less than 72 hours.

In this instance, the cost difference in relining the sewer compared to a dig and replace solution was millions of dollars with zero down time for production. Before (top video) vs After (bottom video)
